On a remote fishing island in the Chesapeake Bay, the old stories say something lives in the water. When her husband vanishes, Department of Natural Resources officer Michelle "Grenadine" Wilson sets out to prove those stories wrong, but the deeper she digs, the harder it becomes to tell the monster the town fears from the one it's hiding.

BEAST is a slow-burn coastal mystery and the proof-of-concept pilot for a supernatural anthology series. Each season follows Grenadine to a new small town and a new disappearance, tangled up in a local monster legend and the far scarier real-life crisis behind it. The Season 1 pilot was shot entirely on location on Smith Island, Maryland — a 250-person fishing community reachable only by boat that has barely changed since the 1600s.
